How NotionFlows helped Ashbury Legal build their crypto legal ledger in Notion and Super.so

Ashbury Legal needed a professional, user-friendly way to share updates on cryptocurrency law. With NotionFlows, they turned a vision into a polished website — complete with automation and an internal dashboard to manage and publish legal developments seamlessly.

A modern law firm with a forward-thinking mission

Ashbury Legal is a boutique law firm based in San Francisco, working with clients in emerging areas like digital assets, mergers, and corporate structuring. Since launching in 2016, their focus has always been on simplifying complex legal topics and delivering practical guidance with clarity.

As interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain regulation continued to grow, Ashbury saw an opportunity to create something unique — a public-facing legal ledger to track key developments in the space. They wanted it to live on their website, feel polished, and be easy to manage internally. That’s when they partnered with us to help bring the idea to life using Notion and Super.

The Challenge

Ashbury Legal came to us with a clear vision — but needed help making it real. Their goals were ambitious:

1. A dynamic legal resource

They wanted to build a crypto-focused legal ledger that would be useful to businesses, partners, and anyone following developments in the digital assets space.

2. A clean, branded website

The site needed to feel professional, reflect Ashbury’s visual identity, and offer a seamless user experience — without the cost or complexity of a custom-coded solution.

3. A streamlined internal workflow

Behind the scenes, the team needed a way to manage legal case content internally, then push updates to the public-facing site without duplicating work or switching tools.

The Solution

We partnered closely with Casey Weiss, Ashbury’s Managing Partner, to understand their priorities and design a system that balanced simplicity with functionality.

From idea to wireframe

We started by mapping out a website structure based on Casey’s ideas — including content types, layout, and navigation. After several rounds of feedback, we finalized the wireframe and moved into the build phase.

Built in Notion, styled with Super

The website itself was built inside Notion, with Super handling the design layer to bring the Figma wireframe to life. The result: a professional-looking site that feels modern, clean, and true to Ashbury’s brand.

Internal + external case databases

To support content management, we created two Notion databases: one internal for the Ashbury team to draft and edit case updates, and one public-facing version connected to the website. This structure kept internal work separate, while making publishing fast and error-free.

Automated case publishing with Make

We integrated Make to automate the process of moving finalized cases from the internal database to the public one. With just a few clicks, the team can now update the ledger without touching the front-end.

Custom dashboard + training

We also created a private admin portal in Notion with step-by-step guides, recorded training sessions, and best practices for updating the site. This gave the Ashbury team full control — without needing ongoing support for day-to-day edits.

NotionFlows helped us integrate a Notion database into our website using Super.so, tracking legal developments in the cryptocurrency market. Roxana took our extensive feedback, made thoughtful design adjustments, and provided excellent training to ensure we could manage the site independently. Her expertise, responsiveness, and flexibility made the entire process smooth and successful. Highly recommend her for any Notion-related projects!“

The Results

A fully branded, crypto-focused legal ledger

Ashbury launched a new section of their website that makes it easy for users to track key legal developments in the digital assets space.

Faster internal workflows

With the automated publishing flow, updates can move from internal draft to live on the site in just a few clicks — no copying, pasting, or risk of error.

Total ownership and flexibility

Thanks to the training materials and admin portal, Ashbury’s team can confidently manage and evolve the website on their own.

A launch they were proud to share

The new Crypto Legal Ledger became a key resource Ashbury was proud to put out into the world. The team shared the launch publicly on social media, complete with a video walkthrough of the new platform in action. It marked a new chapter for how they share insight, showcase expertise, and serve their audience.
